We had definitely crazy weather over the weekend. If you heard about the strong windy storm close to NYC, that was it. It was really scary ... There are many fallen trees, branches and other debris all over ... many of them damaged the houses, cars, etc.... and there is also flood from too much rain. There were even a few causalities. We lost power for one day ... well, we consider ourselves to be those lucky ones, because there are still about half of the city without power and it is not expected to be fully restored until Wednesday, so, it's 5 days without electricity ...cannot even imagine that ... We also have 2 knocked down trees, one behind and one in front of our apartment building ...luckily, they didn't caused any real damage.

Cez vikend sme tu mali skutocne blaznive pocasie. Ak niekto pocul o silnej burke so silnym narazovym vetrom blizko NYC tak to bolo ono. Bolo to strasidelne ... vsade naokolo je plno povalanych stromov a konarov ktore poskodili domy, auta, atd... a tiez je tu pozaplavovanych vela oblasti zo silneho a husteho dazda. Bolo tu dokonca aj par umrti. Stratili sme elektrinu na jeden den ...ale povazujeme sa za tych stastlivejsich, pretoze pol mesta este stale nema prud ktory podla odhadov bude uplne obnoveny vo vsetkych domacnostiach az v stredu, takze to je 5 dni bez elektriny ...ani si to nedokazem predstavit... Tiez mame dva vyvratene stromy, jeden pred a jeden za panelakom ...nastastie ale nesposobili nijaku vaznu skodu.
